TREATMENT
What is rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty is facial surgery that addresses the nasal bridge, tip, nostrils and septum together. The goal is not to change a single line — it is balance within the whole face.
Bone and cartilage structure, skin thickness and the rest of the facial proportions differ in every person. There is no standard “model nose”. The plan is written from existing anatomy and reachable expectations.

Open and closed technique
In closed technique, incisions stay inside the nose. In open technique a short columellar incision allows clearer access to tip cartilages. Choice depends on the change required.

Bone, cartilage and skin
A hump, tip projection and asymmetry are corrected through bone–cartilage work. Thick or thin skin affects how long swelling lasts and how the final shape reads.

Breathing and septum
Aesthetic rhinoplasty does not ignore function. If a septal deviation, valve narrowing or turbinates limit airflow, correction in the same operation is considered.

Common questions about the process
How does my treatment process work?
First an online plan, then an in-person consultation, labs and surgery in Istanbul. A dedicated coordinator stays with you at every step — stay, check-ups and hotel in one file.
Who meets me at the airport?
A private car waits under your name at IST or SAW arrivals. You are taken straight to the clinic or hotel — you will not get lost in the city.
Will language be a problem?
An English-speaking team is with you from the first message to departure day. German or French support can be arranged on request.
Is the hotel contracted?
No package hotel is forced. Quiet rooms with lifts near the clinic are recommended; we coordinate the reservation in your name.
Can I explore the city?
Yes — on days and at a pace your surgeon approves. The first 48 hours prioritise rest; afterwards, low-walk routes such as the Basilica Cistern or a Bosphorus cruise work well.

Frequently asked questions
Will the result look natural?
The plan treats the nose within the whole face, not in isolation. The aim is a more balanced profile — not an “operated” look.
Can breathing problems be corrected too?
Yes. If the septum or airway needs work, functional correction is evaluated together with the aesthetic plan.
How long is recovery?
Return to social life is usually around 10 days. Fine swelling can take longer to fully resolve.
